I’ve experienced more peer pressure to go vegan than I ever did to smoke, do drugs or sleep around.

And my response is the same:

Actually when at any and I mean "ANY & EVERY," dining situation, I am being forced to explain my lack meat in my food choices. Whomever I am eating with starts interrogating my food choices and why, and then spins the the lens to that I must be judging them secretly.

Ironically I have never made a comment about their meal choice and encourage them to try what I have heard others rave about, all are typically meat base dishes.

I find most meat eaters to be the ultra curios or judgemental type.

@Iwillwait It sounds like the problem is your friends are dicks.

@Morvoren It's friends, family, other people as well. Everyone wants to establish some sort of label. "Oh You're Vegetarian?" I am like "No.. I do eat eggs and fish. " AH Ha! "You're a Pescatarian!" I am like "Uhm..I have no idea where you going with this, I eat and sustain life."

Then they'll no need to do deep dive into my seemingly pathetic diet. Honestly, I have never had some one who is a Vegetarian or Vegan ever do that. It's only meat eaters and always meat eaters.

@Iwillwait Then it’s the group of people where you live.
Iwillwait · M
@Morvoren it's literally everyone. Everywhere..

@Iwillwait That’s foolishness.

People everywhere aren’t the same. Their values, motives and priorities vary. You might be talking about your city or region but think people everywhere are the same is BS.

@Morvoren nope, it's everywhere. I get the same shit here in Norway.
