Bit of a rant, couldn't find a job for a while and now I got one

Years ago i worked at McDonalds they constantly tried to get me to stay over. In the beginning i did but over time i felt taken advantage of especially when i had to fight with them about my shift being over and me asking them who will take mt spot. Then they got mad at me for wanting to leave at my scheduled time! After awhile when they asked me to stay i said no and eventually they got the hint.

I'm glad I live in a country where working hours like that are simply not allowed.

I now just work less hours but that's because I don't mind sharing rent between 4 other people and having less things and space. I'd rather have more free time from work. That's why I only work 40 hours or less. Sometimes I only average around 33 hours per week. But that's just me and what I can sacrifice.
