Random Upset Rantings

I hate how my own family ALWAYS doubts me...

Even on completely unimportant and extremely basic things. They missed seeing something, I saw it extremely clearly, so I described it to them, and my family don't believe me...

I mean this kind of thing always happens, if what I say doesn't match their preconceived notion, they always fail to believe me, and think their notion is still correct.

It's no wonder why I have absolute zero self confidence 💔 ...

What I'm saying isn't crazy or far fetched either.
Why can't they simply believe me... 😥

Why do we as people rely on others to provide that confidence?
You should know that youre right. That's all thst should matter.
Hold your head high knowing you spotted it and they didn't.
Remember theyre just family.
I never had praise as a kid. It wss always a comparison. But im not letting that shadow who the fuck i am.

@Gangstress I don't know, but like they're the people that matter to me most, and I just wish they believed in me, trusted me and had faith in me, more than anything else.

@Viper i get ya honestly. Im sorry. These things are tough when parents dont believe in you. I assure you. You have friends that do. I have always believed in you, you know that x
I wish youd see it bud 🤗❤️

Can you give us a specific example of something you know for a fact,
but they don't believe you?

And if you point out to them what they have overlooked, what do they say?

@Viper

Yes, there are some people who get stressed if they are aren't working.
'Idle hands are the devil's workshop," etc.

And some parents' emotional makeups just aren't well-matched to that of their kids.

@Thinkerbell yup, in some ways I'm exactly like them, in other ways I'm the exact opposite.

Also, I find it interesting, that I have some mental help issues, and my dad side does as well, including him, but he can't mentally relate.

It's weird, like he was taught to bury that sh!t so much, and did so, to the point that he can no longer see it...

But he absolutely gets depressed if he has nothing to do, he needs projects or work, and to get outside, and be doing something, or he clearly gets depressed and grumpy.

@Viper

It's paradoxical that there are some people who are very good at working through the steps of an actual physical project, but who are not good at thinking through a logical chain of more abstract ideas, even relatively simple ones.

I’m sorry. That’s really shitty and a terrible way for someone to feel 🫂🫂
