ALthough I don't know if the depression you are facing now is due to a love interest, I was there a few weeks ago and it is hard I know. Master all your strength and tell yourself you don't need this, and your head is playing you. You can control this and shake it off and emerge above it, tomorrow is another beautiful day! Winter's Rose

Beneath the winter's snows, buried there are things so deep below,
Like a love that's lost it's soul, lies a row of summer's rose.
Waiting just to be exposed.

So perfectly deranged. Like a soul that's now estranged.
Lie those roses, sleeping there unchanged. Their beauty much the same.
A flame of life to rearrange.

And yet that rose, it just can't see. That their beauty is just asleep.
Bound dormant, until released, by the summer's warming heat.
It's such a temporary freeze.

Inside the rose's heart, there lies the hope of a fresher start.
Like a piece of abstract art, provoking colors splashed across the chart
Thoughts from inside, wisdom imparts.

So the rose..., she must believe, that the summer comes for she.
With it's sun she'll be set free. A bloom that all can see.
Of the highest level of degree.

And, from inside out..., she is reborn. Love's light, inside...; Adorned.
The past, now gone, and scorned,. No longer to be mourned.
With a heart that's been forewarned.

So much stronger the rose now grows. Sprouting forth from beneath the snows.
To greet the life that is bestowed. With a soul now predisposed,
To shine and glow.
Beauty..; Unopposed.

Having had horrible back pain years ago, I can relate. Although it isn't easy, try to distract yourself as much as possible. That sometimes worked for me. Although one should never mix medication with alcohol...

Been there. I can remember a part of me being mildly amused by the toilet paper wad. I hope you feel better soon 🌻

Why??

I no longer get it together...I sleep, cry, write, do what I need to without guilt with out shithead making a call.
You know depression is a liar and it is a thief stealing our joys.
Sometimes, you can't be happy.
Simple as that.
Be kind to yourself like you would a friend.

You can do it, and when you get time, use your strength (you have it, trust me) to evict that Bastard out of your mind. And fill all vacant spaces with happy thoughts, puppies, wine, etc....and thus it will have no space to move back into.....we believe in you
