I came to SW from a site that had no blocking nor muting. We just fought it out or ignored each other and I figured I’d do the same here. But it didn’t take long to understand that it’s very nice to have the option to remove people from my airspace. I still don’t mute all that often and block even less but I have no problem pulling the trigger.

@bijouxbroussard Lol….. actually it was fine. With no block/mute options, we were forced to either get along, fight it out or learn to ignore each other. Moderation was such that none of that crazy sexual/fetish stuff would be tolerated. We had a very nice, close-knit online community.
It’s also the site where I met my husband and a dear friend I’ve had for 18 years. 🙂
