@LILY61 It's good that someone killed him, I think everyone can agree on that, taking his actions into consideration. Such people are very sick and the thing they have for underage girls or boys is an obsession, hence this obsession will drive them to do it again and again. They should be sentenced to die or never let out of prison.

@Blanchy Everyone [b]absobloodylutely can't[/b] agree on that! The most (allegedly) appalling people deserve justice too otherwise we don't have a civilisation.

I don't disagree with your last sentence (though I'm not in favour of the death penalty, I'm not telling the US to change how it does things).

But I think we all ought to agree - actually - that while killing someone in immediate self-defence is ofc fine, though I don't think we should celebrate people dying ever... vigilante justice (which is what this is really) isn't ever justice at all. There is no fair trial in a kangaroo court nor when a single person is judge, jury, and executioner.

Regardless of a (alleged) POS being out of society as a result, we have a justice system for a reason and it's abhorrent to me that it's not used and even more abhorrent that some people cheer when it isn't. 🤬

And everyone's judicial system is a joke. people get paid off. people look the other way and don't help the victim at all because they don't like her (neighborhood, race, religion or sex).

and i am all for the death penalty when it is someone that cannot be helped...they are so evil or have done such diabolical deeds that we don't even care if they could be helped...kill them. and they should not be kept alive for ten years. the reasons are stupid and make me realize why we build such animals in the first place.

@Lhayezee I suppose we have different mentalities in different countries, because I have never met a person before who didn't think it's a good thing when a pedophile dies. I agree that the law can't allow civilians to kill them for many good reasons, but that doesn't mean it's not a good thing that he's dead.

@LILY61 If there's ever a time for the justice system to look the other way, it's when one of the victims, or parents thereof, kills a pedophile. If they put him in prison, someone should let the details of his crime be known to the cellmates.

@Lhayezee The abuser deserves nothing , the victims deserve justuce,and time after time that doesn't happen .

@kodiac Exactly, I would be far more concerned with the victim's justice. What's just about him going to prison for a few years, after scarring an innocent child or teenager for life? I can't believe that comment has 6 likes. Smh.
