Consultations turn into something more sometimes!
I mentioned in a previous post that I offer consultation meets at the start of the day, and at the end, at my shop. People want to talk over what I think my help remedy a situation. While lots of these are for herbal remedies to dry skin, or hard skin, dandruff, and similar things, at which I can offer ointments and shampoos and tinctures, sometimes you get more different problems that individuals want a herbal remedy to and it needs a discussion rather than a tea, although I do offer a herb tea at each meeting.
Tonight I met a guy named Jon who wanted me to advise him on a remedy for something far more personal! He came in to the shop and we went into my side room which doubles up as a consultation room and an office. I keep my records there, and store part of my grimoire there in a locked cupboard. Anyway he came in and he talked about my shop before he started on about my blue hair. He then smiled at my dress, saying he couldn't believe I was warm in a semi transparent dress! He said he was glad I didn't have a bra on!
Only after thinking I was either relaxed or defensive did he then stand up and take his trousers down! He turned his rear towards me and pulled his underwear down to reveal a patch of very dark red skin. He said it had appeared and the doctors had tested it for cancer cells, that it was just like birth mark but had just no root cause. I offered an observation and he said he would dress again. There was a talking point in that whole part of the consultation.
