What is the point of trolling?

Are they that miserable and bored? I just don't get the purpose of putting others down in your free time.

anyone who says something that is correct or hits too close to home is dubbed a troll by the person who put their foot in their mouth. 0ften people put themselves down with nonsensical comments and the "troll" brings it to their attention 🤷
