You ever think no one can see your point of view on anything?

reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
I used to feel like that a lot when I was younger and very rarely do now so something must have changed. my hypothesis is that 1: I started avoiding idiots and I don't waste time talking with them. 2: I got better at expressing my ideas so that when I explain my point of view someone has to be pretty stupid to not understand., and I dont mean agreeing with me, I just mean understand my point of view. 3:maybe I also matured and have accepted that there are no ultimate truths, only perspectives, so my way of seeing something is not necessarily THE ONLY WAY so I don't feel shocked if someone has a different perspective but if they can't even understand my perspective? then they are probably idiots.

@reflectingmonkey If your way of seeing something is just a mindless perspective, then you will be regarded as a donkey.
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
@sree251 a perspective is a fabrication of the mind therefore cannot be mindless. what you call the world is a reconstruction of the world within your mind using signals from your senses and information from people and various medias. what are you saying? that each person should believe that their perspective incompasses all possible perspectives?

It’s not important in the scheme of things. I know my heart. I know where I’ve been and what I’ve done. I can still enjoy other peoples company without a need for us all to agree.
Not so much in person. The people that I interact with in person, family, friends, neighbors, usually listen to me and are respectful because I listen to them and I'm respectful.

On this site, most people don't really care what I think unless I'm agreeing with them.
Eklipse · F
Can't say I really care if they did or otherwise you don't always depend on societies approval for certain decisions and choices.
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
No, I have friends who are good at seeing my point of view, even on things we disagree on.
WaafaS · 26-30, F
@WanderingThrough That's good.

Absolutely .. no point arguing with jerks ..

And that's when I decided to start writing books..
Piper · 61-69, F
No, not really. About a few things, though, I've felt that few people did or do.
It seems like it sometimes. But I’m not that good at explaining my side.
