I'm Saying Don't Judge Me Until You've Walked In My Shoes

I only criticize people after I have walked a mile in their shoes. That way when I do the criticising they are a mile away and have no shoes.

They've been preaching this since day one.
People will never stop "judging".
It's a sad truth but too many people find their own self worth by finding fault in others.

I hate when people get all judgy when they have no clue what is best for me.

I judge. I'm not going to pretend I don't; it's how I assess every situation, how I've survived, how I determine right from wrong in my own behavior, how I evaluate my own safety or risk. The thing is, it's not how I decide whether or not I like someone and want to befriend them. And it's definitely not what dictates the respect I afford others. You (general "you") have my respect as a human being going in---I'm not one of those folks who say "you have to [i]earn[/i] my respect"---who tf am I but a fellow mortal ? You have it and it's yours to lose by the way [i]you[/i] choose to treat [i]me.[/i]
That's my feeling about it.
