@hippyjoe1955 yes when you are dead you wont be able to fullfill the promise . But at least you tried. That is honorable. I have a big big issue with people making promises but not at least trying to fullfill it .

@CheerfullyCurious I simply assume they had a good reason not to fulfill said promise and move on. Some promises are made stupidly. Some are based on misinformation, some are based on swollen ego.

@CheerfullyCurious People should only make promises they intend on keeping. Sometimes life and reality prevents us from keeping them and those who received the promise should be understanding enough to know that.

@hippyjoe1955 i understand what you are saying but if you make a promise you should at least try your best to keep it - not simply broke it because you feel like it or it is more convenient for you.
