Who we are.
Loving what you perceive is the truth of who you are. Being happy with what you conceive from this love is the expression of who you are.
I say this on this morning as the most recent addition to my own Bible I have recited what must be over a thousand times now.
When trying to understand who we are, we often imagine aspects of ourselves. Our body. Our personality. Our role. But I believe these are not who we who are as they will all change with time. The only constant that endures is our ability to perceive. As long as we breathe, this is happening.
Why have I chosen love as truth in this as opposed to something like hate? Well, simply because love accepts what we perceive while hatred rejects it. Which do you believe would have the better understanding of a concept? One who gives it space with an open mind, or one who takes away its space with a closed one?
