I met a female drag queen once . she was incredible. Wild, full of energy, doing things I never thought possible. She was a street performer in New York in the early 1990s. I never made it back to New York, but that moment stayed with me.

It’s a reminder that people need to travel, to see how others live — to witness the bold, the creative, and the real up close.
