AthrillatheHunt I use the term undocumented and it makes people mad but I make a point to use it rather than illegal. Partially cos it doesn't make sense to refer to (at least some people,) who escape their countries as illegal when they were being tortured.
I can't just say that even if they are here illegally, it's morally wrong to refer to people like that when the US has set up as world authority.
Here's the issue with me about the US wanting to call people illegal. We set ourselves up as world authority. We have them propaganda wars where we say we want to spread democracy and end up killing many or taking resources.
But we also had things in the past like usaid which for many reasons were decent programs run by decent people. It's not all bad, we do have decent people trying to be leaders as well. Usaid that Trump ended sadly 😥
So we want to set ourselves up as leaders but we don't want the bad that comes with being leaders, we only want the consumerism and the benefits. We don't want the responsibility.
The bad about leadership is yes, you do got to handle things like atrocities that other countries do to their citizens. Citizens will look to us to escape whatever hell they're in.
Whether escaping from poverty or war.
But we don't want that. We declare all these people illegal but we also set up as the American dream. We sell this dream to others constantly but it's fake. They want to sell a dream but not have the responsibility of putting up with the bad.
Being a leader is tough and the US simply isn't up to the task.
That's why I always say undocumented and even if the person hates me for using that word, so be it. To me, they're just not born leaders and not everyone can be that. You have to make hard decisions and the US can't do that fairly.
