That's so cold

The bounty hunter who testified saying ice contacted his agency asked what the city was gonna do to stop them from arresting immigrants and you can hear a city official saying that he's going to start a panic and that you can't put a price on humans. The bounty hunter said sure you can, there's a price for every human. That's cold right there.

Cold yes, but that's the mentality of people working in the bounty/bail world - and strictly in business terms it's correct.

I don't know exactly where this "hearing" took place and I don't recognize the guy claiming to be a bounty hunter - even after he removed his mask. But no one should be surprised if in fact what he's saying is true. ICE, Homeland Security, and the Trump regime in general have made it clear they intend to use every means - legal or otherwise - to bully & coerce state & local government to comply with their extreme tactics.

Their goal is to buy enforcers working on the edge of the system ( like bounty hunters), and turn ordinary citizens into paid informers and snitches by offering "rewards" for phony intel & bogus accusations. It's not about rounding up real criminals & dangerous foriegners, the aim is to create fear & confusion in order to silence opposition.

HOWEVER, "bounty guy" is mis-stating some key facts about what they can do & what legal authority they have to answer to : They are regulated & licensed by state governement, they can only pursue known felons and fugitives, must inform local law enforcement when they are operating within a jursidiction, are required to provide a name & location for any individual they're trying to aprehend, cannot impersonate police or emergency responders, and can be sued for unlawful detention and excessive use of force.

The important thing for everyone in every community to realize is - no matter how much smoke and mirrors are used to cover it up, this government is out of control. And no one can or should be forced to go along.

@GuiltyBiStander Bounty hunters and militia make logical sense with how they been acting. I typically only see that kind of aggression with militia or bounty hunters. This is typical from what I've seen in the news, I wouldn't doubt for a minute that his bail bonds company let him know in the future he could make money that way.

@GuiltyBiStander There's been many cases where bounty hunters were in the news for illegal imprisonment, wrongful arrests and misuse of force. Ice is doing this as well so if it was against the law before it's not now.

And ice has made no attempt and ignore all inquires about this which means they're likely doing something.

@GuiltyBiStander see the larger picture make up of a population which is terrorised into subjugation and no one should question hisbaction he's a democratic dictator , unfortunately AMERICA HAS FALLEN
@SatanBurger that’s what I mean, if ice are paying them to do it and congress or who ever doesn’t want them doing it then they should pay them not to. It’s like paying farmers not to grow a certain crop lol

@Nunlover It should be illegal to kidnap people and those bounty hunters should be arrested, not paid.
@SatanBurger I totally agree and ice should be arrested too but they just doing their jobs. It was more fun being illegal years ago when I came to the USA

By definition, a bounty is a price for a person. Everyone has a price , sadly .

@Thodsis @AthrillatheHunt I use the term undocumented and it makes people mad but I make a point to use it rather than illegal. Partially cos it doesn't make sense to refer to (at least some people,) who escape their countries as illegal when they were being tortured.

I can't just say that even if they are here illegally, it's morally wrong to refer to people like that when the US has set up as world authority.

Here's the issue with me about the US wanting to call people illegal. We set ourselves up as world authority. We have them propaganda wars where we say we want to spread democracy and end up killing many or taking resources.

But we also had things in the past like usaid which for many reasons were decent programs run by decent people. It's not all bad, we do have decent people trying to be leaders as well. Usaid that Trump ended sadly 😥

So we want to set ourselves up as leaders but we don't want the bad that comes with being leaders, we only want the consumerism and the benefits. We don't want the responsibility.

The bad about leadership is yes, you do got to handle things like atrocities that other countries do to their citizens. Citizens will look to us to escape whatever hell they're in.

Whether escaping from poverty or war.

But we don't want that. We declare all these people illegal but we also set up as the American dream. We sell this dream to others constantly but it's fake. They want to sell a dream but not have the responsibility of putting up with the bad.

Being a leader is tough and the US simply isn't up to the task.

That's why I always say undocumented and even if the person hates me for using that word, so be it. To me, they're just not born leaders and not everyone can be that. You have to make hard decisions and the US can't do that fairly.
