Some yes but for those I’ll leave behind I have to hold on to hope.

We must keep trying to improve things. That's the only way things will get better.
My brain says this too shall pass but my heart has grown weary. 😔

Been waning for a while. It's all waxing worse and will not be repaired. Be better to brace up.

I have lost faith in humanity. Not just from world events but by analyzing our history and cultures.
I lost hope for humanity 30 years ago.
As humanity's protector, no doubt that humans continue to thrive in a contented and sustainable natural world, equitable method of life without oppressive authoritarian systems
From what I experienced. No one cares about anyone.

@Husher How sad is that.

There was never any sort of Golden Age, there were few if any eras without wars ("civil" or between nations), famines and poverty, but the future does look very bleak in many ways.

Been waning for years now. We're too far gone for redemption. We just add to the fire with every war, every political campaign, every social media post and every lie spoon fed to us by the press. We need a hard reset as a species. Wipe the slate clean. An apocalypse.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@JestAJester seems like World War II scared everyone out of the idea of war. But now enough time has passed people are bloodthirsty again. And when it’s over, they’ll be scared again and we won’t have war for a long time.
It was never very high ti begin with

Unfortunately humanity acquired a small amount of intelligence while we are still somewhat wild animals. IMO long term prospects are iffy at best.

Not really. It’s just the governments. The more advanced we are technologically the more peaceful and prosperous we are.. artificial intelligence has arrived, we’ll all be doing good soon.

@Ferise1 Ehh I do not think AI is going to fix anything.
