I’ve certainly seen women age and the attention they receive wane. It’s easier for men because we don’t garner the same attention (typically).
Is the attention sexualized? Of course. But, for the most part, you’re sexualized to the extent that you choose to participate. That by no means means that all attention is desired.
It’s quite similar to the way women (again, not all) view a man as a “provider”. A good provider is unlikely to be lonely.
