The surge.... The storm beneath the calm

Beneath the calm of this gentle fabric of the society is the insatiable thirst of the beast within each of us. Eden was a perfect world and so were Adam and Eve , whether it was meant to last no one knew. Eve's greed for the forbidden knowledge tore the innocence that God has bestowed upon the garden the world was never the same ever since. Today's society is decorated with wonderful etiquette and sophisticated way of living and civilization is at it peak. I fear what now awaits us is only downfall the lost of humanity and the lost of humanity reason which people like Rousseau has professed. The century motto is Survival of fittest and it is the jungle law so people have rightly said that we live in concrete jungle. I fear not the individual beast ..not the murderer or the ràpist whose crime is redeemable I fear the rise of the animal within each of us humans. It has made its headway in capitalism where the strong drinks the blood of the weak and we are following its footsteps in giving way to greed and power and to unhealthy competition. The only healthy competition is to oneself it interesting to test one's limit but it is inhuman to belittle another. Having said all these though the world maybe headed for doom there also a surge .... The wave of hope and restoration the thirst for redemption. For Christ saviour of humanity has bought hope by his blood and died to shame the pride of the kings and rulers and to put the feet of the weak back up on the ground. Now this is humanity to me.

Solomon reached height of pleasur e in every thing that is in the world but he gainwisdom in return. And conclude that everything is chasing after the wind what he lost is the presence of God and Eve gained enlightenment indeed but with a consequence that no man can bear Sin an entity bigger than you can ever imagine God the Father himself cannot bear it but only the son bears it in the Cross.

I love Jesus, but I don't blame Eve for the downfall of society. If anything, she has led us down a path of enlightenment.
