I Am Disgusted At Humanity

I finally told my neighbor not to spit where we walk.
I heard him do it again out my window. so I opened my window.
I tried to be nice about it. asked him how he was doing first. talked about the unemplyment situation. He said he has been calling like 100 times a day. Told him I wasn't able to get through to some state websites too.
Then I asked if he could do me a favor.
"It's kinda weird but I hear him clearing his throat and seen him a couple times if he could not spit where we walk. It's kinda weird with the pandemic going on and stuff."
He looked at me really weird and said no problem. But I got an awkward feeling.
We'll see how it goes.
I guess the worst that could happen is he spits on my front steps when I am not home.

I truly hate having to confront people about their rude habits but I have to live in this world too. It makes me feel bad not confront and confronting. there is a no win situation. But we are in the middle of a fking pandemics. I've already nearly died from immune system problems in the past and my mom is elderly and he was super sick last week coughing badly and spiting all over and blowing his nose out all over snot rocket style.
