Do you realize rights are only temporary?

Rights aren't rights if someone can take them away. They're privileges. That's all we've ever had in this country is a bill of temporary privileges

You could argue that rights are those which are demanded and those which you would fight for. They may be given to you by the authorised power, but they are retained by demand. A right cannot be taken away if you as a people refuse to give it up.
