I believe all human have the natural inalienable right to mushroom hunt on their own land and public land.

No license, no registration, no Hassel.

One of many unwritten human rights.

Even though most people don’t have that nuance to tell the difference between the lethal and none lethal ones?

@Ceinwyn Yup, I just believe there are certain core rights humans have do to the nature of being human. Foraging for food being the underlying one for this specific human right.

@KingFeeder So allowing uneducated people to die painful is for their own good in your view?
KingFeeder · 36-40, M
@Ceinwyn I'm saying it isn't the state's business. It is the individual's responsibility to know what they are doing. Mushroom hunting is really something one has to learn in the field from an experienced hunter anyway, so no government licensing system would really enhance safety anyway.

@Ceinwyn if hunter gatherers could figure it out, so can we. - anonymous quote.

@KingFeeder Modern people can’t cope without googling things.

If in doubt look at the endless stream of videos of Americans who can’t identify their own country on a map.

@Ceinwyn Here is a philosophical question for you then. Should the ignorance of some, justify all not having a fundamental right as a human being?

Should we live in a controlled society (like in the movie The Giver), because society isn't willing to let individuals take individual risk?
