At what age do you consider yourself just another ol human and stop thinking you're so independent

We are humans also BECAUSE we are a social species.
The thought / feeling that we are originaly individuals getting together as a kind of deal is in causal terms a fantasy that puts the horse behind the charriot.
Of course we are also individuals, but even what makes us be different, the shape of it only makes sense in the frame of our social interactions.
@ElRengo well said.

We are tiny in the grand scheme but our actions can be significant
As far as I can remember.
Hard to say. I was independent when I young and taking care of myself, now I'm a senior doing it.
When you're no longer able to get around as easily or when your mind starts to degrade by illness etc.
