Not friends but coworkers and especially one female boss who played her employees against one another. It took great patience on my part but when our company was purchased it was just a matter of time for her new boss to see her and several of her favorite employees for what they were and I had the satisfaction of seeing them let go and given the respect from her new boss I deserved.

@ChemicalXTheExtraterrestrial It wasn't a pleasurable experience working for that woman but I honestly had more experience and knew more about the responsibilities of a good Quality Assurance department than she did. I had developed a reputation with our customers working for other suppliers and they knew me. That reputation carried through word of mouth to the management of the company that purchased us. It's a stressful job and nothing funny about it. But you enjoy the wins when you can. Just like when many of my coworkers watched the demise of Litton when they purchased the previous company we worked together at and left before the walls crumbled in. We told them they were going to fail because the FAA hated them and there wasn't sh-t they could do about it.
When the peasants tell the King I told you so it's a satisfying feeling.
