For honesty, Is it only me who feels that the whole world is in the core of hell hole since 2013 ?

I feel it's been in the core of hell hole since long before that.

It's generally been improving over time as far as safety, security, tolerance and all of that. We'd gotten so used to it that being in a downturn feels extra bad. Also, we're more in an era where you hear about all of the bad stuff all of the time. So even if less bad stuff is happening overall, you are still hearing about more bad stuff than you used to just because of the speed of communication now.
