let's see how honest you folks are...

have you ever shoplifted anything? what did you steal?

i did for a brief period when i was a kid. it was a rush for me for some reason...but i'm glad i stopped. i'd mostly steal candy.

I was doing a tour that traveled around the country doing work in big prisons. I was playing an inmate/criminal. We were making next to nothing. Stopped at a convenience store once and I stole some candy bars.
Next day I quit. Walked off the bus in Colorado with almost no money. The second that mindset crept in to real life I knew it was time.

I stole a pair of goggles when I was 13. I was walking out of the shop and went to McDonald's! Delving into my big Mac my friend asked me what was around my neck! The fooking goggles that I was trying on, we were laughing so much in the store I didn't realise they slipped down and we went on our merry way to feast on a fat Mac's!

Most memorably... a putter. You know those "Pirate's Cove" mini-golf courses in America?

My friend and I were at a tourist trap and we payed too much money to mini-golf. It was so packed that it took 45 minutes to get to the fourth hole. By then we just walked out with the Pirates Cove putter.

When I was 18, I've invited the wrong crowd to my house. Secretly living with me.

They steal. They usually steal 151 Bacardi all the time. We had over thirty empty bottles collected.

That one night I had to help them steal two bottles. They stole one and I stole one.

We haven't been caught ever since because there's no cameras at the Alcohol isle.

And we continue to party every night.
I had a ringside seat to the consequences of poor decision making, that scared me to death.
Growing up, my neighborhood acquaintances drew constant drama from thugs and the police.
Always terrifying; never a rush.

We quickly parted ways.

The first is dead now. The 2nd, is serving a life sentence.

So, no I never stole.

I stole a hotdog when I was a toddler
When I was a little kid I shoplifted a bubble gum ,right after the owner of the shop asked me if I would like something for free and I declined because I was too shy to accept it publicly

I've never shoplifted. I never needed or wanted anything badly enough to risk being caught and have troubles. I'd die of shame. Everyone looked down on thieves, as it should be.

I stole some rocks I found on a playground once
As a kid yes. And I was caught. NEVER again!!!!
So if someone says they never did, you’ll assume they’re not telling the truth ? Not everyone’s a thief. 🤨
@bijouxbroussard didn't say that...if you told me you never did i'd believe you
@beermeplease Seriously, I never have. Honesty was a really big deal to my parents when I was growing up.
@bijouxbroussard honesty was a big deal in my house growing up too...my mom would have killed me had she known i stole things as a kid
Lilnonames · F
I would steal food from the buffet
@Lilnonames if it was all you can eat then your second trip up isn't a crime 🤣
I was too scared to even try.
