Please be honest

Can someone with ptsd live a normal life? Can they live a healthy life? Are they prone to mental illness, obesity, heart issues and substance abuse and memory deficiency? Is it inevitable?

I don't think I can ever have a normal life, but I'm not a drug user or alcoholic. I struggle with obesity and memory problems.

I am on medication but I still have problems not trying to isolate myself from society, but it feels like sometimes nothing works.
