I wonder why people insist on asking those without kids *why* they don't have them. It's an extremely personal issue, and it amazes me that anyone has the gall to stick their nose into what is essentially no one else's business. I don't remember ever hearing anyone asking childed people why they had so many... 😈

Not everyone is meant to, not everyone needs to, not everybody wants to and for some it's simply they haven't found the one to marry yet. Some people have medical issues or problems with fertility. For example, I'd at least have one kid by now, but my very first pregnancy ended in miscarriage which for me was something out of my control. It has been hard for me to get pregnant since then.

Everyone is different thank goodness, wouldn't it be boring if we all did the same things in life

Because to some it's important, and to others it's not. Some are pressured by family to have kids and some are not. Some are able to have kids and some are not. Some can afford to have kids and some cannot.

Some people don't know any better until it's too late. I have found people with multiple children to be the most self-centered and thoughtless and are only concerned about what they want.

Well, at the end of the day, it's about what people want out of life. Some want kids, some don't. That's it. Kids aren't compulsory.

Well.. there a gazillion reasons... but they can be summarized around ... timing, finding the right person, what goals in life are, events and circumstances, and of course personal preferences. I think events are probably the biggest factor.

Mr. Blue Sky may have a point as well... favorable genetics probably mean more opportunities to mate. Though that might not be hold true at every individual level, it's likely statistically true in large numbers. Lol.

I ended up with a foot on both sides of this.. Sometimes it's as simple life circumstances and/or bad choices in partners

For me its because no one will have me lol

For me it is ADHD and ASD.

Low status men rarely marry and breed .

Some people are poor so can't afford marriage or kids.
Some are ugly so die with loneliness.
Some are fools so they make kids and then have to get married.
Some are rich so they keep getting married and keep making babies.
