Do most people today often confuse a fake sense of security and inner peace with truth?

Do most people today often confuse a fake sense of security and inner peace with truth? Is that why most of us refuse to confront evil and refuse to deal with the ugly reality facing our nation right now ? Has the seduction of technology made all of us lazy?

“I often find that people confuse inner peace with some sense of insensibility whenever something goes wrong. In such cases inner peace is a permit for destruction: The unyielding optimist will pretend that the forest is not burning either because he is too lazy or too afraid to go and put the fire out.”

We've lived the good life for a long time. It's made us complacent. J6 was a defining moment. It was really about sending a message to the citizens of our country. Exercise your 1st Amendment rights and protest against this Marxist gov't, you go to prison without due process, end up in solitary confinement, and suffer beatings and torture. They know they can do whatever the hell they want to us because they control the elections. Even with republicans in control of the house, no one is pushing to free these political prisoners. If the country was united, we could end the nightmare quickly. But the media brainwashes 24/7 and that maintains division. I don't see a way out until people are willing to risk everything to take our country back.

Exactly so. Like they think that the Leopard II will do any better than the best Russian tank.
