Easy choice for me in favor of the 100 m record. A hot romp is temporary. The glory of a world record is forever. Even if the record is beaten, the glory of having had it remains.
Plus, I'm not a music person, and I have in the past been a competitive runner (albeit at distances much longer than 100 meters).
