Truth is a tricky thing... to be seen as honest/truthful, one must be honest and truthful all the time. Therein we find the problem, both parties exaggerate, omit, lie knowingly misrepresent and so on.
I'm pretty much disgusted with 99% of our politicians, but I do see more good intention and less lies coming from the Democrats.
I do see more outright, purposeful lies coming from the GOP, but that certainly doesn't mean I 100% believe/trust democrats.

I used to vote for both parties, for whoever I thought was best.
Until the Republican Party excises Trump & his ilk (the deniers, etc.), I will not vote for any State or National Republicans.
It's likely to be a while, possibly not in my lifetime.
