Remember when Tang sponsored some of the TV coverage of the first space shots and one of the astronauts complained about how bad it tasted?

I could be wrong but I think it was made for astronauts to drink in space

I just tried to google it, but couldn't find it. Apparently it wasn't invented for the space program. I remember watching one of the early space shots, probably between 1963 and 1966, and hearing one of the astronauts complain, live, about how nasty Tang was. Followed very shortly by a Tang commercial.
