A white lie is well-intentioned and probably does very little harm.
Brutal honesty is truth but with zero consideration for feelings. But sometimes it is deserved.

@easterniowegin Here is an example of brutal honesty! A white lie is a lie! An half lie is still a lie! And just because someone lays it on the line does NOT mean they have no consideration for feelings. Do you realize that Jesus Christ called people vipers and children of their father the devil?! And I guarantee you that he so loved this world and was very concerned with feelings. The truth is that many would rather their ears be tickled with a lie rather than the truth. It’s a pansy generation. I do believe there is a time to speak and a time to hold your peace.., but I want no lies!

@NoGamesTolerated Well then confusion must be the MOTHER of all emotions. I've tried to learn to live with it since losing the 850.
Actually it was more than that . It cost a lot just to cross those 4 states to make the visit in the first place.
But in my world no one even secretly WANTS to be lied to. People don't have a secret desire to be robbed blind by a brand new friend or anyone else. I haven't visited that institution yet, if I'm wrong...
