I need help. And I hate it :(

Things are so stressful. I called many times about the insurance that was “rushed”, but calling again soon. I have to do this physical therapy. I’m moving around as much as I can. It’s a little easier with the walker and back brace. But the pain is still bad. I used my last round of medication, and I don’t see the pcp I was set up with until Friday afternoon. I still have my food benefits with my work exception (I literally cannot work or drive in my condition) but my bills are already due. I don’t qualify for cash assistance, I’ve tried and asked. And JFS doesn’t help with bills unless I have shutoff notices and an eviction notice. Which im trying to avoid. My credit is being rebuilt and I have to stay in good standing. I am expected to be like this for 12 weeks. I’m on week 3 right now (a full week was in hospital) and trying my best. My family can only help a little bit financially, which I am thankful for. But I’m barely even ahead. Gofundme has nothing on it. And I’m trying to avoid panic. I remember when gofundme was helpful. Now it’s you get nothing from anyone unless you’re dying. Idk, I don’t feel like there’s good people anymore. I need help. And I’ve exhausted options. I just need a bit to stay afloat for the time being until my family can figure something out for me until I recover.
I hate needing help. But I need it.

At times we all need help.

Sometimes there is nothing we can do but give our fear to God. God WILL help you.

What you need to do right now is get in touch with the hospital and tell them you NEED a social worker to advise you and to help you FIND some help.

You should call the PCP office and tell them you are in al ot of pain and out of meds, too.

@4meAndyou I’ve already talked to JFS caseworker I don’t qualify for cash’l assistance and they only help with bills if there is shutoffs or an eviction notice. I’m trying to avoid it getting to that point. My pcp appointment is in order to get medication and a new assessment on my progress.

@XForbiddenDesiresX Try calling your church. A church is a community that cares for you...and sometimes they can even help with food and bills.

@4meAndyou I’m fine as far as food goes, my work exemption allows me to keep my ebt I use for me and my kids. It’s day to day expenses I cannot afford
