When my mother and I went out to eat yesterday she got super upset when I started to stack the plates and put the utensils on top and put the glasses

together on the edge of the table, her saying that's the server's job, when I told her it helps she just sneered. And she wonders why I always insist on paying the checks.

I always do the same..I don’t think we should ever take for granted the people that wait on us in restaurants. It’s simply good manners to clean up behind yourself.
