I spent some time on the Ramsey property in Tennessee creating a walking trail in the woods with a few good people. I couldn’t fully understand the older guy I was with, I picked up like every 7th word he said, but he was super chill and he had kind eyes, and there was a kid from New Jersey who is about to graduate the university of Tennessee who was nice and easy to talk too.It was a good group and it was so much fun creating the trail. I had found this on a volunteer group for East Tennessee. As soon as I got home I started looking for more events, you get to see so much more and experience so much more when you volunteer somewhere. In a few weeks I’ll be working a music festival and another time I’ll be working at a radio station.
@Kstrong I really appreciate that, most of the time those moments stop me in my tracks. I’ll be walking and something beautiful will catch my eye. The interesting thing is that they typically can only be seen in that spot that catches my eye, if I walk forward a few steps it’s gone, if I step to the side, gone, the moment is there and then even the view from that spot changes. I take it as a gift and appreciate it, snap my shot and walk away with a full heart. I’m not sure if that makes sense, trying to explain it with words diminishes how I experience it
