Would you volunteer for 8 hours in one day?

There's a place I want to volunteer at. I've always heard of it.
They seem to really help people but, for 8 hours??
What if I don't like it?

Sure, I could just walk out but, I don't want to [i]have[/i] to do that.

My work actually gives us 8 hours of paid time to go do volunteer work. The catch is we have to volunteer during our shift. There aren't many night shift volunteer opportunities :s

Have someone call you with a reason you have to leave if you're not feeling the eight hour shift.

@SooperSarah I do the same but it must be a local charity without paid staff

@MarineBob I'm not sure what all the rules are. It's not something I can really take advantage of so I never looked into it.
