Would you support universal basic income for women only?

I hear alot of worrying about couples not wanting to start a family because of financial stress.
I figure cutting women (and women only) a check every month would solve that. It'd also give them an option to stay home if they want.

Thoughts?

@NoahB People have all kinds of notions of what welfare is/was... not really so funny when you look at how it degrades people who really need it. Not so funny when you see those who'd rather have welfare than take pride in helping themselves. Welfare makes people dependent on a government paycheck that they have a hard time getting out from under later.
Did you know that those who received welfare (women) were often pushed to dump their children in day cares and work state run programs while fathers were pretty much left to either work for cash and not pay child support or just not work at all?
Welfare..... I don't think too many know the half of it.

@SW-User yeah i don’t really believe in that nonsense. If I was hungry and someone told me they weren’t going to give me food because I’d become dependent on it I’d think that person was trying too hard to be my parent and not a fellow human being lol
