Would you support universal basic income for women only?

OMG. Are you full blown-out crazy? Why women only? That's hardly fair. But, quite honestly the idea of just handing out checks under a UBI philosophy is flawed from the get-go. You only make it less appealing, more counter-productive, and more prone to fraud by outright discriminating against everyone EXCEPT only one segment of the population. And, to help bring you back to earth, it's not only couples wanting to start a family and women in particular who experience financial stress. Have you ever heard of students? What about veterans who make up a large segment of the homeless population? Have you ever heard about people just starting out on their own?

May I suggest you go back to the whiteboard in your isolated elitist world and develop usable suggestions that can actually be applied under real-world (not Sim World) conditions?
