I know this is a light hearted post but I remember being on holiday and watching TOTP and song after song that I had never heard before came on that were absolutely fantastic. The one I remember most was Muscle Bound by Spandau Ballet which had an artsy video that came with it. I need to follow this up now but I think it must've been a May Bank holiday in 1981.

@rinkydinkydoink I was listening to the radio where a football commentator spoke about The Hit Parade! He was roundly mocked by the other commentator at which point they went 'Top 10' and finally settled for 'The Charts' as the place to find the latest music.
