Generalizations based upon sex are problematic because of factors like individualism, age, upbringing, different cultural norms. Some women come from cultures that allow women to express their emotions more openly than men.
Even then, it’s not necessarily all emotions. Some women are raised to believe that expressing anger is "unfeminine", for example.
