I Hate Gender Roles And Stereotypes

I really struggle with this one and I have all of my life. I never quite fit the assigned role for me growing up. I've listened many times the positive messages of "you do you" but can still hear the echoes of less obvious cues that tell a very different message. I'm reminded again and again that terms like "quirky" and "different" aren't messages of acceptance. They hold hidden agendas behind them to let me know I do not fit what is expected. I like these things about myself, but deep inside I know I would be happier if I were just "normal".

The cover, the body is our vehicle, to talk, to run.
The motor, our brain is the decision maker.

We do life
We be life

The doing is the doing, in a vehicle. This vehicle, needs fuel, needs rest.
The being is the being, the vehicle has no effect on the being.

To be
To be you
To be you, (not the vehicle, secondary )

Your worth of self, is your life job for you. You are the focus and your worth. Outside of you, you won't find your worth. Your happiness has nothing to do with been accepted, you accept you. You have to live you, you to you is your most important relationship you will have.

To be happy in this life, is all to do with your state of being.
Happiness is a "state" of mind.
