I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

Women who had brothers: Did your brother ever tear up your dolls? I've heard this from a lot of girls who had brothers. They loved to tear up their sister's dolls. What was really wrong about this is the parents usually don't punish boys for this. They just laugh and say "boys will be boys." But it didn't work the other way around. Usually if the girl tore up something of her brother's she would instantly be jumped on by both parents and her brother. It definitely proves that most parents pamper boys. I've always thought that would be very traumatic, having a sibling tear up beloved possessions. Fortunately mine never did that.

Some parents with low IQ does that. I used to think that my mother loves my brother more than me and my sister when I was little. Now I realize that she gives him more care because he's autistic. I feel bad about thinking bad things about my mother.

I don't have dolls growing up; not privileged enough to have any. But..My brothers never did that to any of my other stuffs.

I don't recall my sons ever doing anything like this to my daughters.
