Why do people not want to be independent anymore? It' seems like most people want to be taken care of. I see this attitude all the time. It's like,

"take care of me. Handle everything for me " And this is true of people of all ages not just young people. America has lost its sense of independence.

@PinkStarburst There's nothing wrong with wanting help occasionally. Occasionally being the word; it seems people want other people to simply take care of them.
