Where did western and\or human society lose its way?

@hunkalove id agree so when do you think greed and the accumulation of things overcame our species' concept(s) of fairness descency and honor? My hypothesis is the Reagan years and then internet age roughly y2k.

@jehova Our Founding Fathers were a bunch of rich white guys, some of them slaveowners, who didn't want to pay their taxes. Sound familiar?
