So my neighbor has a firepit which he lights constantly

I mean it's fine but I was just wondering if the smoke that's coming over is bad for you. Or am I paranoid lol

Certainly better than a tire fire. Wood perhaps is better than charcoal or fire logs, but any inhaled substance over time can be detrimental. Every night is a tad excessive.

Shame the winds/Yard juxtaposition is unfavorable.

You could have a casual conversation with him about it. But relations as neighbors after well intentioned "chats" can be unpredictable sometimes.

Is a fire pit against city ordinances at all? The fire dept. could just "inadvertantly" roll up one night without your knowledge, whatsover.🤷‍♂️ 😂🤭

@SethGreene531 yeah I actually looked into it... it's legal if it's at least 13 feet from neighbors or trees. His I think is around 10. I'm not gonna say anything but at least I know 😬
@LilymoonHe's 3ft over 🤔. I see. Save that bit of knowledge for a bigger issue down that road, for leverage 🤭

LOL in all seriousness, I love the smell of a woodfire, I'd hesitate to call too.. Maybe he'll invite you guys over!

My old neighbors..a young couple had one too. It was surrounded by trees but 20 ft above the pit.
The nosey older lady to my left squealed on them, then the pit disappeared.
Shame, cause all their friends would come and have a really nice respectable party late into the night.😞 They didn't get company often.

@SethGreene531 oh we've been over over there it's pretty cool just the smoke can get in your throat after a while *cough cough* 🤓
