No! That is definitely not good for you to be breathing in. That can damage your lungs!
Inhaling smoke from a fire pit can cause a range of symptoms, including:
Coughing: The heat, chemicals, and other particles in smoke can irritate your airways, causing your body to produce mucus
Headaches: Carbon monoxide in smoke can trigger headaches, which can be a symptom of carbon monoxide poisoning
Eye irritation: Smoke particles can cause a burning sensation and redness in your eyes
Chest pain: Smoke inhalation can irritate your respiratory tract, which can lead to chest pain
Confusion: Carbon monoxide poisoning can cause confusion
Shortness of breath: Fine particles in smoke can cause difficulty breathing

@Lilymoon that's awful. You shouldn't have to do that. I hate that you have to put up with that. There must be something that can be done. Could you write him a nice note and tell him you have respiratory problems and the smoke is causing you big problems? Or maybe you should call the health department but then that could really cause big problems. This is not healthy and burning coals like that can cause lung cancer
