When you joke about being rude so much, are you really just joking? 🤔

Of course, there are those who joke like that with each other all the time and they really don't ever mean anything by it. I myself have relationships like that with my wife and sister. But then there are those who will go saying offensive or inappropriate things to others fairly often and then try excusing it by saying they're only kidding around just as often. In which case, again, are they really? I suppose it's possible they really never mean anything and just have a poor sense of comic execution. Not that it makes it any less shitty of them, of course. But those that purposefully do it because they're really not joking and are just being passive-aggressive, I find that incredibly shitty. If you're gonna be an asshole, at least be honest about it.
