How many paid sick days does your employer give you?

We get 7 per fiscal year. 🤕

We get 1 sick day per month. Unlike vacation time, it does not have to be used by the end of the year and the days can just accrue.

Luckily, I never abused sick time and had a massive stockpile that covered me for almost the entire year that I was out.

@sciguy18 I end up using my measly 7 days each year for flu's and shit. 🤷‍♀️

@sciguy18 This is good that you could accrue and have those. I've worked with people that are guaranteed to be sick at least once or twice a month (that you know are just abusing their time).

Early in my career at this place I filled in for a woman that I could almost set a calendar to that she'd call in. After a couple months I knew the days to throw in a raincoat or something else I might need to cover her job (she did deliveries).

@Lilymoon Exactly! While I've been lucky and healthy (thus ability to bank so many hours) I know that's not the case for everyone. Some people need all of those hours plus some. So it's really unfortunate thing when you see others abuse them.
