How many paid sick days does your employer give you?

I guess it's 20 now.

I worked full-time at Walmart, so that's part of the reason why I had more sick pay, and vacation pay, but I am pretty sure even the part timers got paid vacation days? Here only stat holidays are paid. Loblaws sucks.

@Lilymoon Loblaws pays minimum wage regardless of experience. And then you get a 10 cent raise for every 400 hours you work.

At Walmart I think you got an appraisal after working there 3 months, plus I started a little above minimum wage because I had experience. After that I think you get a yearly review and you can get up to a 40 cent raise regardless of your hours.


It's preeetty bad when you are making Walmart look like a better employer!!

@AmbivalentFriability Yeah... and here I'm thinking the last place I'd wanna work is Walmart. Obviously Loblaws is worse. And it's a Canadian company. 🤦‍♀️
