@empanadas Running might cause too much cortisol being produced due to stress and fatigue. Walking reduces cortisol but the downside is you have to commit to a minimum of a half hour. Low fat diets cause your body to go into “starvation mode” and you go insane with food cravings. Cutting carbs, especially sugars, maintaining proteins and healthy fats like avocados will lower insulin spikes and over time reduce insulin resistance (pre diabetic conditions) and maximize weight loss. I tried plenty of low fat diets. None worked. Keto and intermittent fasting with regular walking helped me lose 43 pounds in three months.
