Those of you who are annoyed Israel is defending itself again should visit Auschwitz, and be honest!
The Israelis, as Jews, will NEVER let this happen again, and instead of unfriendly Europeans all around them then they have unfriendly Arabs and Muslims....
I'm not Jewish, I'm Christian, and my Lord Jesus was born a Jew, so I feel with reflection we can see why the Israelis might seem heavy handed.

Funny you bring up Auschwitz. Israeli lawmakers recently discussed the prospect of rounding up Palestinian civilians living near the occupation zone and putting them in, and I quote, "internment camps."
Now that certainly isn't something that a different group of people did in history, is it?

@Lust4Life Look, I'm an astronomer and not a war correspondent so this isn't exactly my wheelhouse to offer meaningful opinions, but as someone who has lived through a tremendous amount of war during my childhood, I can certainly tell you that the solution to the problem is not declaring, and I fucking quote, "war on the entire Palestinian people."
